Your Hospitals, Your Say

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share your views on the New Hospitals Programme so far.

The Your Hospitals, Your Say report, published in September 2022, provides an overview of the activity that has taken place and the feedback we have heard from people in Lancashire and South Cumbria to date about what is most important to you regarding your future hospital facilities.

The Lancashire and South Cumbria New Hospitals Programme is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform our region’s hospitals and reduce health inequalities for local people. We plan to develop new, cutting-edge facilities that offer the absolute best in modern healthcare and address significant problems with the ageing Royal Preston Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary buildings, with investment to improve Furness General Hospital.

Hearing and reflecting the views of people living in Lancashire and South Cumbria is an essential part of shaping plans and proposals for new hospital facilities. Please continue to get involved and have your say.
